The Invercargill Gymnastic Club has a Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy, which you can view here.

Our Welfare Officers / Safeguarding Leads are Jenny Scott and Trina Melrose. Their contact information is available on the club’s noticeboard. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact them confidentially. 

We have a range of safeguarding measures in place at our club, including:

• All our coaches have completed safeguarding training and are police vetted.
• Regardless of who is training, there will always be at least one adult (18+) in the gym at any time.
• We have recently installed security cameras in an effort to better protect our gymnasts, coaches, and any persons using our club. View our CCTV policy here.
